Three dead in Tondo fire

A fire razed a residential area in Barangay 147, Tondo, Manila on Wednesday morning, September 11, leaving three persons dead.

In its report, the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) identified the casualties as a 21-year old mother, her four year old child, and their five year old relative.

In addition, the MDRRMO recorded about 20 families who were affected by the fire.

The Manila City government, through its Social Welfare Department, has already mobilized its response teams to assist the victims.
