Mayor Isko orders intensified enforcement of curfew in Manila

Starting today, the Manila City government will STRICTLY enforce Ordinance No. 8547 which implements a curfew from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am.

Parents of minors (17 and below) who will violate the ordinance will face sanctions, as per Manila City Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso.

Manila City Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso on Monday, September 2, ordered the strict implementation of curfew on minors from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am.

Likewise, Domagoso urged the Manila Police District (MPD) to immediately find the person distributing rugby and other solvent-based products to children.

This after the Mayor conducted a surprise inspection last night where 22 street children were taken into custody by authorities over a riot.
