Manila only city in NCR below COVID-19 Alert Level 4

The rest of Metropolitan Manila, except Manila City, has been placed under the highest alert level for COVID-19 due to the continuous rise of infections and hospital bed utilization.

All cities except for Manila were placed at Alert Level 4, which means healthcare utilization rate were higher than 70% and have been classified as "moderate to critical risk."

The City of Manila, which was placed under Alert Level 3, was classified as "moderate to critical risk" but has a bed occupancy rate lower than 70%.

This was the announcement of the Philippine Health Department after all areas of Metropolitan Manila logged a positive two-week growth rate, a high-risk average daily attack rate, and a high-risk case classification.
