Spanish Ambassador to the Philippines Jorge Moragas Sanchez paid a courtesy call on Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso on Tuesday, December 10, at the Manila City Hall.

The two discussed the evident influence of Spain in Manila’s architecture and heritage sites. Sanchez shared an initiative, Escuela Taller, a foundation based in Intramuros that preserves art and infrastructure through its conservation programs.

Likewise, Domagoso assured the Spanish envoy that Manila is committed in protecting its history and cultural significance as the country’s capital.
