Manila Girls and Boys Town’s “Turon at Lumpia”

ABS-CBN News anchor Ces Drilon interviewed Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso on Friday, December 13, about the city administration’s current and future projects.

Domagoso presented to Drilon the momentous transformation of the Kartilya ng Katipunan. From being crowded with vendors and stalls, the park has been revived through drastic cleaning and landscaping efforts. It is now open to the public.

The Mayor also stopped by one of the Manila Girls and Boys Town’s “Turon at Lumpia” carts and had a quick bite of their special turon while interacting with the children and the audience.

Likewise, he allowed the public to have a first look at the on-going construction of the massive fountain in front of the Katipunan monument.

During the interview, Drilon asked Domagoso what his vision was in light of the development and reconstruction efforts of the city’s historical sites.

In response, the Mayor said: “We want Manila to be vibrant again, and of course, we want investors for the city. But most importantly, I owe it to the people.”
